Hotel Vila Lumbung is located 5 km north-west of Legian/Kuta, perfectly situated to enjoy your holiday in quietness and tranquility, but only a 10 minutes inexpensive taxi-ride away from the shopping and entertainment places of this pulsing tourist center. A quiet beach is about 800 meters away.
The idea to build the Hotel Vila Lumbung originated from the need to find the ideal place for close friends, who make the long journey from the west, and who wish to find the best accommodation with an exotic flair,yet at an affordable price.
The Hotel Vila Lumbung (read the two "u"s as in "luminary") is a small exotic village surrounded by masterly designed tropical gardens of approximately 15,000 square-meters.
The special shape of the grass-roof villas is derived from the typical Balinese "Lumbung".
The lobby, Restaurant and Shopping area are designed to follow the "Lumbung"-concept; a large-scale 2-level swimming pool with a waterfall, cave, island and bridges, bubble pool and connecting lotus ponds fulfills everyone's fantasies. At Restaurant Vila Lumbung a cozy, relaxed ambience sets the mood for your dinner. As our guest, make your dinner special by choosing whichever one of the many corners of the grounds in which to dine.
An oasis of tropical gardens with 14 superior garden floor rooms, 14 deluxe rooftop floor rooms, and 2 deluxe villas with each 3 bedrooms, large living area, kitchen and private garden. Built in typical Balinese "Lumbung" style (read the two "u" as in "luminary") with thatched grass roofs.
